Ryan Arp, Principal possesses 10+ years of consulting in the GIS industry, having dedicated most of his recent GIS-based research and development efforts in the real estate and banking industries. 

Most recently, he served as Director of Land Research GIS/IT at one of Phoenix's most successful land brokerages.  He developed and implemented land research efforts that were an amalgam of subscription services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases, and GIS programs.  Of special note, he developed and managed a strategy that utilized the power of Google Earth Enterprise for presentations to real estate professionals that included public and privately held homebuilder companies, market analysts, investors and developers.  

Before consulting in the real estate industry, Ryan consulted in a number of GIS-based archaeological projects in Mexico and Guatemala.  His own graduate training required the development and management of GPS- and GIS-based projects.  In addition to archaeology, Ryan helped develop and teach a number of undergraduate and graduate courses with GIS components in Sustainable International Development, Archaeology, and Environmental Studies at Brandeis University.

Prior to his graduate career, Ryan served as a consultant on the EPA's Borders XXI project and as the Arizona Department Health Services' GIS consultant, performing needs assessments, project procedure recommendations and direction on mapping and analysis projects throughout the Department.
